Ingredients
- ¼ cup arugula
- 2 tbsp hot pepper jelly
- 1 honey crisp apple sliced
- 3 tbsp. pre-made caramelized onions
- 4 sprigs of sage, fresh
- 2 crumpet
- 2 slices vegan cheddar cheese
- 4 slices pre-cooked vegan bacon
- Salt and pepper
Directions
- Plug in your dual sandwich maker and place one side of the crumpet into each side.
- Spread a layer of hot pepper jelly and a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each.
- Next add three thin slices of apple to each sandwich and lower the divider.
- In the top section of the sandwich maker place 2 pieces of precooked vegan bacon, caramelized onions, fresh sage, and top with the other half of the crumpets.
- Cook the sandwiches for 5 minutes, slide the middle divider out before lifting all sections up to reveal 2 perfectly cooked sandwiches.
- Remove the top crumpet and top with fresh arugula and a sprinkle of salt and pepper, return the crumpet and enjoy!
